As you walk out of the Tunis-Carthage airport, you are in the main town, which is an ancient city with modern urban quarters. Tunis' reputation owes a great deal to Sidi Bou Saïd, a jewel of traditional arab architecture. In its smart residential quarters and its new business areas, you will find luxury hotels, private properties and western-like streets and avenues.

30 minutes away by motorway, the beach town of Hammamet is one of the most appreciated, next to Nabeul, the potters' town, whereas all the Cap Bon horn is surprising and far less crowded, with its famous fields of orange and lemon trees, among greeny countryland and sharp sea sides where the moutains fall brutally into the water.

South of Tunis, the peak moutains of Zaghouan offer landscapes of steppes, plateaux with large flat rocks and, in spring, green wheat in the middle of nowhere. The ideal location for shooting trekking or bikking scenery...
